Coming to National Addiction Helpline was a life sever. The treatment is a process as mental health treatment requires time and patience and that is exactly what I received from the staff, the doctors and therapists here. With their intensive care I have been able to overcome my challenges. You get what you put into your recovery plan and I have absolutely reaped the benefits here.

My experience at National Addiction Helpline was nothing short or a life changing experience. I had an amazing therapist and was looked after by a team of amazing caring people. Nika and Ashley are fantastic. I highly recommend National Addiction Helpline if you are struggling. They helped me through a tough time in my life.

If you think you need help, you probably do. Even if it doesn’t involve full inpatient treatment, get help. If you think you don’t have the time or have too many obligations, guess what? Nothing is more important than getting the help you need for a brighter future. All those obligations are meaningless if you can’t cope with everyday life.

I wasn’t eager about the idea of spending 30 days in an unfamiliar place, surrounded by strangers, and the thought of going through such a difficult process without my family or friends was terrifying. However, my time at RVR gave me something I’d never found in any meeting—that’s my personal experience. I encourage anyone who wakes up each day feeling unwell, and whose career, relationships, family, or mental health are at risk, to consider treatment. While it’s not a cure, treatment is a powerful remedy for the body, mind, and spirit. If approached seriously, with genuine commitment to sobriety, it can give you a valuable 30-day head start toward maintaining long-term recovery.

I was using alcohol to mask issues and self-medicate, but soon my life began to spiral out of control to the point where I almost lost the people, I love the most. I woke up in a hospital, not knowing how I got there or what day it was. Seeing the sadness and disappointment on my wife’s face—and the confusion from my children—shook me to my core. That’s when I realized my life had become unmanageable and I needed help.

Without a doubt, the best experience of my life. National Addiction Helpline offers a peaceful, welcoming environment and excellent care for people battling all types of addiction. The facilities are top-notch, and the staff are attentive and compassionate. The regular group and one-on-one therapy sessions were especially helpful in my recovery. They also provided a thorough aftercare plan to support me as I transitioned back into the community. Overall, my experience has been fantastic, and I wholeheartedly recommend National Addiction Helpline to anyone struggling with addiction. 

Once you’re here, you’ll be welcomed by a great group of staff who go above and beyond to help you overcome your struggles and understand why you’re struggling. National Addiction Helpline really takes strangers and turns them into a community where we support, encourage, and guide one another to make the best decisions possible. Spending time here is easily one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! 

My life changed at National Addiction Helpline. The staff—from therapists to chefs—were kind and supportive. I never thought I could beat my addiction, but I learned there’s always a way. The meditation, PT, and yoga classes were amazing, and one-on-one therapy helped me open up completely. It was hard being away from family, but the sacrifice was worth it. I committed fully, worked hard, and learned so much.
