Onfi (clobazam) is a medication that belongs to a class of drugs known as benzodiazepines. It is primarily used to treat seizures associated with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS) in adults and children aged two years and older. Specifically, it is used to control seizures that are characterized by brief lapses of muscle tone, known as atonic seizures, as well as other types of seizures that are associated with LGS. It is important to note that Onfi should only be used under the supervision of a qualified healthcare provider who specializes in the treatment of epilepsy or other seizure disorders.
